Freetown City Council releases calendar of events

Freetown City Council has released a calendar of events happening in Freetown this December for residents and guests to enjoy. While it doesn’t encompass all the events as December is a festive time in Sierra Leone and there are many events, this calendar certainly is a good place to start. LXG set to perform in NJ

Diasporans in New Jersey and it’s surrounding areas will get a treat this December when one of Sierra Leone’s leading groups LXG comes to perform in December. The event will be on December 14th and will be hosted at the Rutgers Student Center.  The venue holds up to 400 so there’s lots of room to dance and enjoy as they perform their hits such as Cher Am , Galadu, Jombobla and Others.  Tickets can be purchased using eventbrite by clicking here.

Line Up for DJ Rampage Mega Fest is Announced

DJ Rampage has announced the line up for his first DJ Rampage Megafest scheduled for the 23rd of this month at Shangri La Garden in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Line up includes popular artists as well as four guest djs! This should mean a plethora of sounds and flows for guests to enjoy. With a line up such as this one and his work ethic this event is sure to be spectacular.  That’s what we think but we wanted to find out how DJ Rampage himself thinks the event will be. With a smile DJ Rampage said that he thinks the event will be “superb with lots of surprises!”. Don’t miss out and get your tickets.

King Dus Arts 10 days Festival- November 22nd- December 1st

A 10 day festival celebrating visual arts will take place in Freetown, Sierra Leone starting on November 22nd. The event will feature live arts shows, extra curricular active, live performances and other forms of entertainment that the producers of the event have said will be suitable for Families, therefore children may attend.  The aim of the festival is to increase awareness of visual, creative and performing arts in Sierra Leone and to provide a platform for visual artists to showcase their work.

On November 16, 2018 there will be an international music festival “ECOFEST SALONE” taking place at the National Stadium in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
